Katie graduated from crib to "big girl bed" last week. She was super-thrilled to move up in the world. The first morning she tumbled out of bed, but she's accident-free for almost a week now (except for a recent tumble off the guest bed in the basement while jumping on it). One time she came out of her room after being put to bed and R gave her the essential "shocked and disappointed" look before ushering her back to bed and she hasn't strayed out of her room since.
She continues to adore skirts and despise all bugs and stray hair. She doesn't scream anymore when she encounters strands of hair on the floor or her shirt, but she still panics if she sees a bug -- or something that might be a bug (she wasn't too certain about some buds that had fallen off the trees onto the pathway).
