As with every spring since about 2003, R had a singing recital last month for her voice students. This time was a bit different because it was probably the last one for a while -- she's going to take a break from teaching with the baby coming. R is excited for the break, but I know it was sad for her turn her precious students over to someone else (he has referred several of them to a friend of hers who is also a teacher). We'll see if she misses it enough to come back to it in a few years.
