Tricycle is from last year's birthday. Helmet is from this year's birthday. Last year the helmet wasn't necessary because he couldn't quite make the pedals work.
There is a handle on the back of this tricycle,but don't let Scott catch you touching it or you'll get a tongue-lashing... especially on a downhill slope.

Ammon still isn't interested in the pedals on his trike. He'll scoot it around with his feet... or haul it up to the top of the driveway and use gravity.
I'm sure he knows the minute your hand is getting close to that handle!
Back off dad he is an independent 3 yr old. Hope he had a great birthday.
Yes, he definitely has learned his independence early...but still stay close to him on the slanted driveway that may take him into the road, okay?
