Suddenly, Katie is big enough (and brave enough) to go on some rides at Calaway Park. If you can get her to stand up straight long enough to be measured (she tries to run away from the ride operators), she measures tall enough to go on several kiddie rides, including the ball pit, a train, the trucks and a few others.
She is still a bit tentative with these new experiences, and elected to stay in the corner near me at the ballpit, rather than follow Scott into the fray. Despite her new freedom, she still likes to watch Scott from the sidelines sometimes.
