The Boxes Just Don't Stop

It's 2:40am, and I'm leaning against some boxed-up furniture. In less than eight hours we'll be loading the truck. It feels like we could keep packing all the way until 10:00am and still not be ready. It's amazing how much stuff you can cram into one house.

Oh...yeah...moving is also a great time to purge.

Oh, how I know what you are going through ! It seems like all the stuff you pack gets together and says, "Let's make more stuff while they are not looking. It will drive them nuts wondering why they never seem to get finished !" I am sure that is what happens.

I think we've moved 14 times in our almost 7 years of marriage-crazy but being apt. managers for awhile does that do you. We purge but we've been at this place for 2 years so haven't done it awhile- I guess that means it's time to move again. :)

Will be praying that your truck and belongings remain safe in the parking lot while you are in church! No more trips to the tow yard! Have you thought about putting a sign in the window stating "owners inside, truck will be leaving parking lot whithin the hour"?

Nice idea, Maxine. I could get one of those "Back in ___ minutes" signs with the little clock on it.

Well, I don't know when you will have a chance to read this. I'm playing catch up on your blog this morning and already know you are probably on your way shortly, or whenever your church ends. Drive safely. Thanks for the videos of Scott, getting to "know" him is so fun, as I don't know when we will be making our next trip to Calgary!

Eric is sure that he saw your truck on Hwy 17 leaving Ottawa tonight just before you entered Cobden. Is this true? Two vehicles passing in the night... or early evening. Anyhow, good luck with your journey!

That was us. What a coincidence. I would have waved if I'd seen you, I promise.
