There are a lot of family birthdays in July, and we celebrated them all one Sunday with cousins, candles and two kinds of cheesecake. As usual, Grandma M came through with an ingenious birthday gift. She got Alli a hatbox full to the brim (pun!) with first-aid items -- this is the girl that asked for crutches as a present one year.
