One Day More

'Tis the night before the ultrasound,
and all through the house,
everyone is wondering,
is it a boy or a girl?

That is bad poetry, but it is very, very accurate. Our ultrasound appointment is tomorrow morning. That means this might be your last chance to guess whether the baby will be a boy or a girl. Several of you have already put your vote forward, so you don't need to vote again -- these aren't the Belarusian elections, after all.

We are pretty excited to solve the great gender mystery. We're also a little nervous, because this is a big day. Perhaps the better thing to say is:

...and all through the house,
everyone is very ner-vouse.

That sounds pretty good.

Jon & Elisabeth are thinking of Jack Henry if their's is a boy so if you're having a boy, Henry may already be taken. He'll go by Jack so you could always use Henry for a first name. Lots of H names lately, Trevor & Amy's, Jen & Luke's and Kena & Dan's. If they have a girl she will be Lilly Kate. Emily and Rob mentioned Gracie for their girl. Do you have a name picked yet for either gender? Will be exciting to get the news. Hope baby will cooperate and provide a good view for you. One of Jasper's daughter's baby had it's legs crossed and they couldn't tell. Won't have another ultrasound until next week. It's so close to Christmas that they decided to have the gender put in an envelope and they will open it on Christmas Eve. Either gender they are naming their's Taylor. I'll guess boy - Derek Jr?
